The Letters in grid app is a good app for children who are beginning to master the art of reading. The app gives good practice identifying letters. The objective is to locate the 10 correct letters in a grid of 40 letters. For each letter there are four levels: small letters, capital letters, small and capital letters, and smal and capital letters with funny shapes.
Letter sounds
When learning to read, we combine letter sounds into words. That s why we focus on the letter sounds instead of the letter names. To help your child learn the letter sounds and thus master the art of reading even faster, a voice will repeat the letter sound each time a letter is tapped.
